Good evening quilters!

Boy, have I been a bad girl! I have not been on this blog for a few months and as I was doing some work on my own blog I decided I had better get on over here and do an update!

We were quiet at 'My Quilting Buddies' over the summer and not much gab or swapping was going on, but now that cooler weather is coming things are starting to heat up!

The gals are searching all over for new and interesting swaps and ideas. If you have any up your sleeve get on over to 'My Quilting Buddies' and let us know what your ideas are and if you would be willing to be a host.

Since the last post here, we have updated the site and it is sooooo cool. Easy to get around, easy to post and easy to find the things you are interested in. One of the cool tools you can use is 'view new posts'. Using this need tool you can check and see what new swaps are going on and keep up on all of the gab sessions too! No more searching and not finding just what you want because you won't miss anything! (You know us gals, we just hate missing anything!)

How many of you are doing the 'Fab Shop Hop'? I always loved to do these, but had to stop because I was doing more computer 'searching' than I was quilting. Also, when I actually managed to get gift certificates to different shops they were not anything I was interested in or everything I wanted was way over what the certificate was worth. So the shops saved money on me! I did do this one and managed to get all of the parts of the quilt. It was nice that there was a picture of it before I went looking for the parts. I am not a fan of mystery quilts and get very disappointed when the finished picture comes out and it is an ugly quilt! I would be really upset if I had put all that kind of work into a quilt that I didn't like. Besides quilt patterns 'talk' to me and let me know what fabric they really want to be made out of and a surprise just doesn't cut it.

What is your opinion of mystery quilts? Drop a comment and let us know!

Happy Quilting,
My Quilting Buddies!
